VANOTEK
Vanotek, pseudonym of Ion Chirinciuc, is a Moldovan-Romanian DJ and music producer born in 1984 in Ungheni, Moldova.
After moving to Romania to study at the Octav Băncilă Art School in Iași, he continued his musical career in Bucharest, collaborating with well-known artists such as Antonia, Dan Balan, and DJ Sava.
His solo debut came in 2015 with the single My Heart is Gone, which was successful in Romania and earned him a nomination for Best Romanian Act at the 2016 MTV Europe Music Awards.
In 2017 he released his first studio album, “No Sleep”, containing tracks like “Tell Me Who” and “Back to Me”, which gained popularity in Romania, Russia, and other countries.
Vanotek is known for his style that blends deep house and EDM, and has achieved international recognition, including platinum certification for “Tell Me Who” in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Currently, he continues to produce music and collaborate with various artists, maintaining a significant presence on the European music scene.
