Walterino began his DJ career at a very young age, playing at friends’ parties and later in numerous nightclubs in northeastern Italy. In the late ’80s, when house music invaded Italian clubs, the artist was deeply influenced by it, combining it with his passion for black music (hip hop, funk, dance). In 1991, he started producing music under the pseudonym L.W.S., collaborating with Mullegarth and Victor Gastro, achieving good international success with tracks like Olga – I’m a Bitch and LWS – Gosp.
His fame grew and in the ’90s he worked on remixes for Airplane Records, including the famous remix of “Wamdue Project – King of my Castle”, which achieved worldwide success. Among his latest hits is the single “Sono Buono” created together with The Cube Guys, reworking the original track by Skiantos.
