Born from an ambitious idea by Marco “Fratty” Frattini, Corrado Presti and Roberto Intrallazzi (the ‘acronym F.P.I. refers to the initials of the three artists and producers’ surnames) FPI is an Italian musical project born in 1989 primarily oriented towards house music with an exquisitely Italian style.
The numerous piano samples, shouted vocals, and an undeniably galloping beat combine with an unmistakable sound characterized by an innovative approach to the best 70s/80s dance music: the distinctive features of the entire FPI Project production.
The most famous track from the project is undoubtedly the hit “Rich in Paradise” from 1990, which entered the Top Ten in several European countries, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
The 1991 single “Everybody (All Over the World)”, the 1999 remix of the same track and the 1993 single “Come On (And Do It)” also achieved great success and rightfully entered the Top-20-Hit of the Billboard-Dance-Charts, also gaining good positions in the UK singles chart of greatest hits.
FPI self-produced throughout their entire period of activity thanks to the Paradise Project Records label, which they own and founded, obtaining – under the pseudonym TC – additional commercial momentum by riding the underground wave.
